God is calling out to mankind, seeking to have a relationship with His creation if only they would respond to Him. The world is caught up in its own ignorance by choosing to do exactly what God told man not to do. "And since they did not see it fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They were full of envy, murder, strife, deciet, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them." - Romans 1:28-32 ESV.
I call out to my generation and those younger than me to take care that you are not going against the tide of God. If you know you are wronging God and you feel the Holy Spirit tugging at your heart, turn and pour out your heart to Him immediately before it is to late. God gve His only Son as a sacrfice on this earth for the sins of man, so that we would not have to suffer the punishment we so justly deserve. Jesus, God's Son, died in your place so that you may have the choice of eternal life with Him. Now that's what I call love!
Read these:
- Jesus: "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out." - John 6:37 ESV
"For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." - John 6:40 ESV
- "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confeses and is saved. For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame." For there is no disticntion between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."" - Romans 10:9-13 ESV
"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And [Jesus] said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and will all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. - Matthew 22:36-38 ESV

Don't Be Afraid To Live Your Faith
I just finished reading day twenty of Rebecca St. Jame's Pure devotional. I just want to encourage all of my brothers and sisters in Christ not to be conformed to the thinking of this world, but be transformed in the renewing of your mind daily, as Paul instructed us. It can be difficult not to love this world and what it has to offer, such as wealth, self-honor, sexual pleasures, pride, etc. But, as children of the Most High, we are called to live our lives apart from this world, or purely for God. The things of this world are fading away, but the things of God will last forever. Rebecca St. James mentions, "We speak the loudest to non-Christians when we live out our faith."
Rebbeca St. James - "This should be our daily prayer: 'God, show me how to live a life that's more pleasing to You.'"

Experience of the Bible's Validity
I have always wanted to record this, and now is my chance. When I was in 8th grade, my class took a field trip the the Holocaust Museum in Dallas. The first thing we did when we got to the museum was gather into a huge room with a big screen, and our tour guide gave us an introduction to the Holocaust and a few testimonies of living survivors. At the end of the presentation, the guide told us that he was a Jew and a descendant of Jews who were persecuted in the Holocaust. I don't remember how he approached this subject, but he brought up the fact that he did not believe in Jesus and that Jesus was not the eagerly awaited Messiah as Christians believe... What the guide said next blew me away! He told me the same exact story that the chief priests had paid the soldiers to tell the people in Matt. 28:11-15. This is how it went:
I recommend reading all of Matthew chapter 28 to understand that this was to cover up Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place. And when they assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers and said, "Tell people, 'His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.' And if this comes to the governor's ears, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble." So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews to this day. -Matt. 28:11-15 ESVIf i could have opened up my bible to show the man that verse I would have done it in a heart beat!

The Way of Folly
Proverbs 9:13-18 gives a lot of insight into the path of sin. This proverb is metaphorical of a woman who is seductive, such as a prostitute, but yet there is nothing good to be gained by committing an act with her. This is the same way with sin. Sin can be very tempting, and there is nothing to be gained by it except hell (Proverbs 9:18).
Thank you Lord for dying in our place so that we may not have to pay the penalty for sin! (Refer to John 3:16-28).

Why this blog?
Over the past several years I have been inspired by the topic of purity and communicating it to a generation of youth. One day, Matthew 22:35-38 caught my eye and I knew this was something I needed to include in this message. To love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind means that we are totally surrendered and committed to Him, and nothing else is taking the place of God in our lives. You can't be totally committed to God and something else at the same time. Total commitment means, GIVING OUR WHOLE PERSON! A whole person is not divided, and is therefore PURE! So this blog is about purity. I hope it will provide encouragement for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to keep their lives totally committed to God.
